About Mary Pitcher

Mary has a long history in Florida Real Estate. She was the Executive Officer of the Key West Association of Realtors for 9 years, then sequed into Residential Mortgage Lending where she was a top producer for over 15 years, eventually becoming the Vice President/Manager of the Residential Lending Department for the largest Community Bank in the Florida Keys.

Amelia Island Community Involvement. When Mary arrived on Amelia Island, she immediately got involved in the Community. Some say she “jumped in with both feet” as evidenced by her awards and accolades. Mary was honored by the Nassau County Chamber of Commerce as both the “Volunteer of the Year” and the “Ambassador of the Year” in 2008. She was also awarded the “Affiliate of the Year” by the Amelia Island Nassau County Association of Realtors in 2008 and again in 2011. In 2014, Mary was awarded the prestigious Dr. Harry Halley Bow Tie award for distinguished volunteer service from the Nassau County Chamber of Commerce. She served as Chairman of the Board for the Chamber in 2019 and continues to serve on the Board of Directors. The Nassau County Chamber of Commerce serves Fernandina Beach, Yulee, Callahan and Hilliard areas.

Mary continues to give back to her community by serving on many other local non-profit Boards including the Nassau County Economic Development Board and the Nassau County Essential Housing Advisory Committee.

Mrs. Pitcher lives in Fernandina Beach with her husband, David, and their two Chinese Crested dogs. She enjoys reading, painting, boating and orchid growing in her spare time.
